GI Chilli Produce from India
GI (Geographical Indications) tag is a status/ certification given to the products having significance in quality, taste, etc. The reason being is soil, traditional practice's, climatic conditions of that particular area.
In India as on June 2019, There are 344 registered GI products, which includes products from Handicrafts, Agriculture, Natural goods and Food Products, representing from all states.
There are around 100 Agricultural Products secured GI tag status in India, Today in this Post we would like to share Chilli Products from India that secured GI tag status .
As on till date (28.06.2019) Four Chilli varieties from India secured GI tag Status.
